Date/Time: Tuesday 15 October, 2019 - 12:30pm

Date/Time End: Tuesday 15 October, 2019 - 1:30pm

Venue: Careers and Employability Service

Have you been thinking about working in the public sector, or looking for a job where you can make a difference? Don’t be put off by long application processes! Situational judgement questionnaires are a common tool in today’s graduate recruitment marketplace, but how do they work, and what can you do to succeed? Join us for the inside track from the perspective of the ngdp – local government’s two-year, fast track management training programme. We’ll take you through the basics of how they work and give top tips for our own assessment process. Plus you can hear a bit more about fast-tracking your career in local government with a minimum starting salary of £25,000/year. Local councils are looking for graduates as diverse as the communities they serve: candidates only need the right to work in the UK and a minimum 2.2 undergraduate degree by June 2020. For more information about the ngdp, please see our website or follow us on twitter @ngdp_LGA   /  www.local.gov.uk/ngdp.
