The University of Portsmouth is ranked 21st in the 2020 Guardian University Guide published today (7 June) – its highest ever position in any university league table.

Postgraduate students’ research help protect our ocean

Postgraduate students from the University are working on projects to improve coastal and marine conservation in the local area, including comparing the quantities of microplastics found in mussels, identifying conservation areas for Beaked Whales, and the effect of ‘blue spaces’ on health and wellbeing.
