The University has been invited to submit nominations for both the 2020 Individual National Teaching Fellowship Scheme (NTFS) and the 2020 Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence (CATE).

Both schemes are run by Advance HE to celebrate excellent practice and outstanding achievement in learning and teaching in higher education. They are open to both academic and professional services colleagues.

Dr Jane Creaton and Amy Barlow were awarded National Teaching Fellowships for their outstanding impact on student outcomes and the teaching profession in last year’s round.

Advance HE will showcase the work of all individual winners and teams, and invite them to engage in a broad range of national and international activities.

We are inviting short Expressions of Interest structured against the award criteria to be submitted by 5pm, 6 December 2019. These Expressions of Interest will be evaluated by a panel consisting of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Dean of Learning and Teaching, and the Director of DCQE. More information, along with the Expression of Interest Forms, can be found on the Teaching Excellence 2020 Award Site

If you have any questions please email Amy Barlow, Head of Academic Development amy.barlow@port.ac.uk
