Speak Up and Sort It Out – calling prospective student leaders

Welcome Ambassadors

Being a leader isn’t necessarily about being in a formal role, it’s also about the example you set. It’s about the ripple effect of how you behave and how you treat people.

Are you looking to make a difference? It’s national Anti Bullying Week this week, and we’re inviting you to join us this Friday afternoon for a bit of free pizza and lots of inspiration at our mini-conference about being a ‘restorative’ champion in student life.

You’ll learn some skills to take away and put into action straight away, and you’ll also hear more about the University’s online leadership course which you can do in your own time.

The conference is jointly hosted by the Sort It Out and Welcome Ambassador programmes, which are both linked with the Speak UP Step UP project. So the conference is also for you if you want to find out more about how to become a Welcome Ambassador or Speak UP Step UP Champion, or how to go on to volunteer for the Sort It Out service.
