LinkedIn services to support University of Portsmouth students and staff

Ralph Blunden Higher Education partner at LinkedIn is coming to the University on 25 October, to discuss how their services (LinkedIn Learning and LinkedIn) can be used to support students and staff. All students and staff have access to LinkedIn Learning, while many will use LinkedIn to promote their role at the University of Portsmouth, for professional networking and for placement and employment opportunities.

In the short seminar (11am to 12.30pm) Ralph will look at the following areas:

  • Student experience and careers: enhancing the hard and soft skills of students – support to core learning and improving employability.
  • Operational efficiency: digital literacy and soft skills (eg management skills) for staff – creating a culture of continuous learning.
  • Supporting mental health and well-being for staff and students – tools to aid managers and pastoral care.
  • Alumni engagement: staying in touch with alumni and building bridges with the outside world.

Useful for anyone supporting students or staff, for further information and to book, register via Eventbrite.
