‘Purple Tickets’ return – and win tickets to the south coast derby

As part of the University’s partnership with Portsmouth Football Club, staff and students can snag discounted match tickets.

‘Purple tickets’ are available for all Portsmouth Football Club’s home League One matches for the reduced price of £16 (one discounted ticket per booking).

The 2019/20 fixture list has details of all home League One matches including the final match on 13 April 2020 against Blackpool.

How to book a discounted ticket

Purple Tickets are purchased online – you will need to register or log in for the UoP option to appear. Once logged in, select your match seats, and the “UOP (Student ID required)” ticket option for £16. Please take your student/staff ID cards with you to show stewards.

As well as discounted tickets, the partnership with the Football Club will provide a number of collaborative health and education opportunities. These include student placements at the club, discounted use of the grounds and facilities, and players helping with the University’s outreach programme in local schools and colleges, to help inspire children to apply for university.
