Launch of new staff discounts portal

The new staff discounts portal is up and running – with 5,280 deals available including £240 a year savings on food and groceries and £500 a year savings on fashion and gifts.

331 staff signed up to the portal in the first 5 days as part of a two-step security process to access the portal. Staff will initially need to complete an internal Staff Discount Portal Registration form and provide details such as name and email address to receive a unique ID which can then be used to access the portal.

As an extra incentive, all staff who join within the first month will be entered into a prize draw to win £250.

Staff who register after the initial 24 May deadline will generally receive their login details at the start of the month following registration. However, we shall be updating the registration data weekly during June, so if you register by the end of the month, you should receive login details within 5 working days.

The discounts portal has been moved to a new secure platform by third-party suppliers Sodexo, which is being used by over 700 organisations nationally including 48% of universities.

Available Discounts

  • Highstreet & Fashion – save up to 18%
  • Restaurants and Coffee Shops – save up to 10% on food and drink
  • Holidays and Travel – save up to 10%
  • Days Out – save up to 53% on Admission
  • Supermarkets – save up to 8.5%
  • Home and Garden – save up to 10% off home improvements
  • Film – save up to 40% off at the cinema and 20% off at Sky Store

Staff can also buy a Spree cashback card – a Visa prepaid card which can used online or in-store at one of 50+ retail partners to receive cash back next time you top up. You can also use your card anywhere just like any other payment card, and can check your balance and cashback retailers on the Spree website or Apple App.

  1. Are our details deleted from the old Sodexo platform? Or is it something we need to actively request? Thanks.
