See your child represent Portsmouth FC as a mascot

Your child could be a mascot for Portsmouth Football Club’s last league game of the season against Accrington Stanley on Saturday 4 May.

A staff ballot is being held for one mascot package as part of the University’s partnership with the football club.

Pippa Bostock’s children Freddie and Eleanor were chosen as mascots for Pompey’s opening game of the season back in August. Pippa said: “They had a fabulous time and really enjoyed the opportunity to meet Nelson the club mascot, have a kick-about on the pitch and walk out with the team. Eleanor was even chosen to walk with the Captain! Definitely a day to remember – thank you University of Portsmouth and Portsmouth Football Club.”

Your child will join other mascots for a lap of honour while wearing the University of Portsmouth sponsored football kit, before being led out onto the pitch with a Pompey player before the start of the match.

Two south stand tickets are available in total (1 x mascots, 1 x accompanying adult).

The package also includes:

  • Loan kit for the mascots for the match
  • Pre-match warm-up on the pitch (weather permitting)
  • Lap of honour with the other mascots
  • Lead a Pompey player onto the pitch at the start of the game
  • Official line-up photograph of mascots and players
  • Official ‘shaking hands’ photograph on the pitch

You must be a staff member to enter the ballot and your child must be aged 5-12 years. Please fill out this google form by 4pm on Friday 25 April to enter. The winner will be selected at random.
