Christmas Jumper Day and Festive Meet and Greet – UoP Global

Friday 14 December is Christmas Jumper Day. All over the country people will be putting on their festive knits to raise money for Save the Children.

Save the Children is a charity that promotes children’s rights, provides relief and helps support children in developing countries through better education, health care, and economic opportunities.

In UoP Global we will be wearing our best Christmas jumpers to raise money for Save the Children.

We are also opening our office and inviting staff from across the University to join us between 1-3pm to find out a bit more about what we do and share in the festive cheer. You’ll find us on the first floor of the Nuffield Centre.

Come over on the day and say hello, eat cake and get to know us. We’ll be collecting donations and generally having a merry time.

You can also donate directly online to make children’s lives better.

Don’t forget to tag your pictures to #ChristmasJumperDay as well as #uopglobal so we can see what is going on around campus!  how

There’s still time to donate to The Reverse Advent Calendar

We are also collecting donations for the LifeHouse, a homeless drop-in and soup kitchen in Southsea. You can get involved with the reverse advent calendar by putting a donation in a box every day to provide something for those in need. Just bring your donations over to UoP Global, First floor, Nuffield Centre before we close for Christmas.
