University Service of Remembrance

On Friday 9 November the University Chaplains will be leading some reflections for Remembrance 2018.

In the morning at 9:30am there will be a gathering outside the Nuffield Building followed by a walk to the University Garden of Remembrance in Ravlin Park.  At the Garden at approximately 10:00am thoughts will be shared in memory of staff and students of the University who have died in the last twelve months, and prayers for peace will be offered as we remember 100 years since the end of WWI.

In the afternoon there will space set aside in Chaplaincy for quiet personal reflection and prayers for peace and reconciliation.  This space is offered for both staff and students to use, and open to all – whatever your faith, religion or creed. Pop in for just a few minutes or stay for longer if you wish.
