The University of Portsmouth to host the 6th Annual Symposium on engineering education research

Following on from the success of their 5th Annual Symposium held in November 2017 at the Royal Academy of Engineering in London, the UK and Ireland EER Network in association with the Royal Academy of Engineering are pleased to announce that their 6th Annual Symposium on engineering education research will be held on the 1 and 2 November 2018 at the University of Portsmouth.

Manish Malik, Senior Lecturer at the School of Engineering, organises the symposium and said “We are delighted to welcome everyone to the waterfront city of Portsmouth. This international meeting will assemble the several thought leaders in expanding the work of our community on Engineering Education Research. We are all acutely aware of the challenges engineering education and our community of researchers face today in relation to the recognition of the role of educational research as well as the important work we do in engineering outreach, innovations, inclusion and gender balance and various practice issues. Thus it is timely that this meeting will enable people to meet and discuss critical issues around these topics.”
