New Marketing Portal live – University photography, logos and design templates

The new Marketing Portal is now live for all staff.  This new digital system will make it easier for staff to find University images and self-serve designed material including corporate stationery.

The portal replaces the existing Asset Bank system which is out of date, does not comply with GDPR legislative requirements, is non-licence compliant and does not support templates, self-serve orders or video.

It’s also easier to use with an improved search engine for staff to find and download what they’re looking for. Unlike Asset Bank, you don’t need to set up an account – just use your main University login credentials. Staff will also be able to create and order items such as business cards directly through the portal.

The portal offers us a more effective and efficient route for staff to create and order corporate stationery, the first of a number of self-serve templates in development.

New assets will be added to the  Marketing Portal over the coming months and you’ll find the following available today:

  • Photography
  • Graphics e.g. icons
  • Logos
  • Brand Guidelines
  • Corporate Stationery – the ability to order business cards, letterheads, envelopes, comp slips. This replaces the current Google Form.

Later phases will include additional templates such as posters, leaflets, banners and newsletters, as well as more tailored content for Faculties and Professional Services – enabling staff to self-serve thus reducing delivery times.

In time, all Marketing Department requests will be managed within the Marketing Portal making it easier for staff to see which stage their request is at and who is responsible. Cost control will remain essential and budgets for all activities will still go through an approval process as they do now.

The Marketing team is keen to capture your feedback as we launch and develop the portal over the coming months. Please email your feedback or any questions to
