Did you see the incident? Examining memory for a crime

We are currently seeking to recruit fluent or native English speakers, aged 18-40 years, with normal or corrected-to-normal vision. Our study investigates factors that affect memory and the reporting of information for witnessed events.

You will be asked to watch a video of a theft and then provide a report of what you have seen. The study should take around 60 minutes to complete, and you will receive £10 as payment for your time and contribution.

The study has been reviewed and given a favourable ethics opinion, reference number: SFEC 2018-020

Volunteers must be:

  • Age: 18-45
  • Gender: Either
  • Staff/Student: Both
