Research Title: Examining memory for a crime over time

Department: Psychology

Our research aims to examine memory for a witnessed event. We are interested in whether the conditions under which you are asked to remember information about something you have seen have any impact on your memory for the event.  Depending on which experimental group you are allocated to, you will be asked to answer a number of questions about the event on either one or two occasions.

Volunteers must be:

  • Age: 18-45
  • Gender: Either
  • Staff/Student: Both

More Information:

All participants will receive £15 upon the completion of the study.

  • Dates: 9th-25th April 2018
  • Duration: 3 sessions (session 1: 10min, session 2: 15-30min, session 3: 10min)
  • Location: King Henry Building

This testing has been reviewed by the Science Faculty ethics committee and been given the following ethics code: SFEC 2017-001

  1. This is just a short update regarding the study.
We have now completed our data collection and no longer need participants for this study. However, watch this space as in the next few weeks we will launch a new study and will need your help!
