Research Title: Investigative interviewing: The interviewer's perspective

We would like to invite you to participate in a research study aiming to enhance our understanding of how investigators interview child witnesses.  Our research will examine techniques used by interviewers when they interview children who have witnessed an event. If you agree to take part in this study, you will be asked to watch a short video interview of a child who has witnessed an event and then you will be asked some questions.  We welcome participants (staff or students), aged over 18 years, who speak English as a first or primary language and who have NO prior investigative interviewing experience.

Volunteers must be:

  • Age: 18+
  • Gender: Either
  • Staff/Student: Both
