Students rate UoP career service top 20 in the UK

49996Students have rated the University’s Careers and Employability Service 19th in the top 20 university career services by student review website, StudentCrowd.

Our Careers and Employability Service offers support to students and graduates with the planning of their future. Support includes helping to find graduate jobs, part-time jobs, volunteering opportunities, internships, placements and business start-up advice. 96.5% of 2016 graduates were in work or further study and all services are available for up to five years after graduation.

Part of our success is also down to our superb volunteering resources to assist you in finding suitable voluntary work experience that links to your course, career aspirations or addressing skill gaps in your CV.

We  have more students volunteering, more external organisations working with us and more support and advice offered about the benefits of volunteering.

The Volunteering Team actively works with 140 local and national charities and non-profit organisations and there are plenty of excellent resources and facilities to help you in your search. There is a Volunteering Bank located within the service on Guildhall Walk as well as an online Jobs Board for you to browse through vacancies and track applications.
