Change of Travel Insurance Providers

GlobeFrom 1 August 2017, the University will be changing its travel insurers from AIG to Royal and Sun Alliance (RSA). This affects ALL staff and students currently overseas, or intending to travel overseas, on University activities.
If you are currently overseas
If you left the UK on or before 31 July 2017,  you will continue to be insured by and given emergency support from AIG up to, and including, 30 October 2017. As a reminder, the emergency support details are: Lifeline Plus Helpline – +44 (0) 1273 400 850, Policy number 0015865120.
From 30 October, you will be automatically transferred to the new insurance provider, Royal and Sun Alliance (RSA).
 
If you are leaving the UK on or after 1 August 2017
Travel on or after 1 August 2017 will be covered by the new policy with Royal and Sun Alliance (RSA). The emergency support details are: Healix International Helpline (LUPC Assistance Line) – +44 (0) 2086 084 100. Policy number RTT306251.
