Important information about the Teachers’ Pension Scheme

Human ResourcesThe Teachers’ Pension Scheme, alongside the University of Portsmouth, would like to invite you to attend a factual and informative seminar that will last around an hour. It has been designed to help you understand more about the main benefits of the Scheme, the options you have to save more, as well as making you more aware of the proposed changes to pensions.

Here’s what you can expect to gain from attending the seminar:

  • Information about the changes to the Teachers’ Pension Scheme coming in April 2015.
  • Clarity on how the Teachers’ Pension Scheme works and the income you could receive.
  • Information about the additional saving options available to help improve your retirement benefits and give you flexibility to retire when you want – including a tax-efficient savings vehicle which over 170,000 teachers have taken advantage of.
  • Information on the proposed changes to pensions announced in the Budget.

The Teachers’ Pension Scheme and Prudential have been working together for 25 years, with Prudential providing an additional savings vehicle since 1989. They aim to help teachers become more informed about their pension arrangements and answer any questions they may have.

  1. I have tried to book a place using the Employer Id above, but it tells me it is wrong (I have used copy and paste, so there can’t be a transcription error) .

I would like to book a place on the 11.30 session on Friday 20 March.

  2. I too have tried to register using the employer id listed above and have been told that it is incorrect.

Is there any updated, correct, employer id to use?

  3. I too have tried to register using the employer id listed above and have been told that it is incorrect.

I should like to book a place on the 11.30 session on Friday 20 March.

  4. The Prudential have contacted me and have checked their system and it must have been a glitch. The Prudential have said if anyone has any problems for them to call Claire Shaunhessy on 0845 268 2856 and she will book them on to the seminar directly

  5. There is still a problem with the employer ID not being recognised. I had this problem last week and have not been able to book via phone because Prudential take a long time to call back.
