Santa’s helpers needed

Brain Tumour Research, the fund that supports our own Brain Tumour Centre, is looking for Christmas wrappers to wrap presents for charity in Gunwharf shopping centre.

They are looking for volunteers for two-hour shifts on Saturday 15 and 22 December between 9am and 7pm, and on Sunday 16 and 23 December between 10am and 5pm.

This is a great chance for us to raise funds and awareness and will be a fantastic opportunity for any volunteers to get in the festive spirit while supporting brain tumour research at the University.

We will provide everything needed including paper, hats, music etc .

Please email ross.lamport@port.ac.uk to confirm your commitment and preferred two-hour slot by close of play on Friday 30 November.

Should any of you need reminding of the work of the BTR fund in Portsmouth to find a cure for the biggest child cancer killer, visit our website www.braintumourresearch.org or our Facebook page www.facebook.com/BrainTumourResearch.

It’s going to be fun and it’s for a wonderful cause so please spare us some time this Christmas and support Brain Tumour Research at Gunwharf Quays. For more information visit www.port.ac.uk/sport.
