Double book launch on Cybercrime and Cybersecurity

Dr Lisa Sugiura, Senior Lecturer in Criminology and Cybercrime and Dr Vasileios Karagiannopoulos, Senior Lecturer in Law and Cybercrime from the Institute of Criminal Justice Studies at the University of Portsmouth are having a launch for their new books. Lisa’s book is titled: ‘Respectable Deviance and Purchasing Medicine Online: Opportunities and Risks for Consumers’ and Vasileios’ book is: ‘Living with Hacktivism: From Conflict to Symbiosis’ and both books are part of the Palgrave Studies in Cybercrime and Cybersecurity series. Vasileios and Lisa are also the directors of the Cybercrime Awareness Clinic. This project, which is funded and supported by Hampshire Constabulary, aims to increase awareness and build resilience to cybercrime in the local community through public engagement and research.
