We have a relaxed and supportive atmosphere in the office, I find it very easy to work in and I feel happy and excited to go into the office.” – Claire Dunford BA (Hons) Graphic Design

The placement awards for students were decided by the University after being nominated by the placement organisations/tutors for their exceptional work over the course of a year. There were two student awards;

This Award recognises the significant contributions students have made as part of their Self-Employed Placement. Nominations were put forward by the Tutors / Mentors.

Placement Student of the Year – Katie Duxbury – BA (Hons) Media Studies

This Award recognises the significant contributions students have made to their host organisation. Nominations were put forward by the Companies hosting the students.

”Early on Katie proved that she was capable of taking on far more responsibility than set out in the job description. She also showed creativity and accuracy in her writing, a flair for photography and a good grasp of project management skills.”- Vacherin
