What is this study about?

Participants needed for a research project looking at what life is like for grandparents who are informal kinship carers for their grandchild(ren).

Who can take part?

Any grandparent who is an informal kinship carer i.e. they care for their grandchild(ren) on a full-time basis, but this arrangement was not made by children’s services.

Why is this study being carried out?

To gain a better understanding of the lived reality of informal kinship care for grandparents.

What does this study involve?

Meeting with the researcher for a mutually agreed duration of time, so they can gain a better understanding of what life is like for grandparents in this situation.
