University Counter Fraud Policy

The University’s Counter Fraud Policy is now available for all staff.

Fake UKVI telephone calls

We have recently received reports from a few students that they have been the target of telephone scams.

Roadworks on Museum Road – 4 June car park closures

Due to Portsmouth City Council resurfacing the road Ravelin House and Rotunda car parks will be closed. The exit to Ravelin car park will also be closed and security guards will support the safe entry and exit to this car park.

Anglesea Road pedestrian crossing road works start 4 June

Portsmouth City Council has confirmed work will take place overnight for up to 20 weeks. (Mon to Thu – 20.30 to 05.30,
Fri – 24:00 to 08:00)

Late goal rush in Students v Staff football match nets £13,000 for charities

Staff and students battled for victory on Friday at the home of Portsmouth Football Club during a charity football match to raise money for Brain Tumour Research and Pompey in the Community.

Sports facilities closures – 4 & 29 June

Sports facilities in Spinnaker Sports Centre, St Paul’s Gym and Langstone will be closed on certain dates during the summer and will run vacation opening times from 5 June.

If you don’t know, get to know – drug safety awareness

The University of Portsmouth Students’ Union (UPSU) recently launched a drug harm reduction campaign with VP Activities Amber Mathurin, which aims to educate students on the negative effects of taking drugs.

MyPort Information Hub receives good feedback

It’s been 8 weeks since the brand new MyPort Information Hub opened on the Ground Floor of the Nuffield Centre.

University House cash desk summer hours

The cash desk in University House will have reduced hours over the summer period.
