Showcase your Work with Portsmouth Festivities

portsmouth festivitiesAre you a graduate, alumni or member of staff looking for a platform to showcase your work?

Do you want to get involved with Portsmouth Festivities 2018?

Portsmouth Festivities is a non profit organisation that, for ten days in June, captures imaginations, celebrates diversity, and explores Portsmouth’s amazing heritage.

2018 marks the 20th anniversary of Portsmouth Festivities, they have been growing year on year, and have developed a reputation for providing high quality events with professional artists in the city’s unique venues.

Since the Community Programme was introduced in 2014, it has grown to become a great success with the events being well received within the City of Portsmouth.

Each year, the festivities celebrate the best of Portsmouth and offers creative individuals and organisations the chance to showcase their work. There were many successful applicants to last year’s Festivities, including Come Sing a Sea Shanty and Croshare.

Portsmouth Festivities is now calling for organisations and individuals from the community to apply to put on an event as part of the Festivities 2018. This is a fantastic chance to showcase new and existing talent within a Festival framework.

It’s a wonderful opportunity within the city that will help to make Portsmouth Festivities 2018 the best one yet!

The theme for this year’s Festival is FREEDOM, not every application has to hold this theme, but if it does then it could definitely guarantee some freedom to the entertainment provided to the Portsmouth Festivities audience.

Portsmouth Festivities 2018 will run between Friday 15 and Sunday 24  June.

If you would like to propose an event, contact the Festivities team at info@portsmouthfestivities.co.uk or visit their website to download full terms and conditions, and an application form.
