Uber-insight at postgraduate open evening

Uber’s vision of the Future of Urban Mobility is the subject of a keynote presentation at an open evening to be held at the University of Portsmouth Business School on Wednesday 21st June at 5pm. Business School

Fred Jones, Uber’s Head of Cities, UK and Ireland, will explain how new technology can allow us to use private cars for public good to reduce congestion, air pollution and land wasted on parking. The technology company that started in 2010 and revolutionised the taxi industry, city by city, is now worth $60 billion.

Fred is speaking at an open evening at the University of Portsmouth Business School’s for its postgraduate and part time undergraduate courses. Over drinks and canapés, visitors will have the opportunity to find out more about our courses, and meet lecturers, current students, and others who are considering the benefits of further study.
