Reminder: Disability Awareness Workshops in June

Enable_Me_CMYKPresented by Enable Me, a user-led disability awareness charity established in 2005, this new workshop aims to raise general workplace awareness and offer guidance, advice and support on how to improve inclusivity in the workplace for staff with a disability

The session aims to:

  • explain possible ways of how to adapt work and business environments and practices to be more accessible
  • demonstrate appropriate use of language and current terminology
  • learn better empathy and understanding when interacting with people with disabilities
  • identifying what equates to a reasonable adjustment
  • explore the barriers people face everyday
  • identify and create an inclusive working environment

The workshops will take place:
15 June   9.30am-1.00pm
26 June  1.00pm-4.30pm

Space will be limited to 20 people per session (but future sessions will be planned). For details and to book go to the Learning and Development events calendar.

  1. The link to the Learning and Development Events Calendar doesn’t seem to be working. Is there another way to book?
    If so, I’d like to attend the session on the 26th of June please.
