ICJS internships with the Cabinet Office

fraudFive ICJS students have been successfully appointed to an internship programme with the Cabinet Office, London.

The students, currently studying for the Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist Course (ACFS), have already successfully completed the Accredited Counter Fraud Technician programme (ACFTECH). They were given the opportunity to apply for the internship programme, kindly offered by the Cabinet Office in conjunction with the University’s Centre for Counter Fraud Studies, in fraud investigative roles.

The successful students are:

  • Katie Vincent, BSc (Hons) Criminology and Criminal Justice
  • Natalie Nova, MSc Counter Fraud and Counter Corruption Studies
  • Lucinda King, MSc Crime Science, Investigation and Intelligence
  • Weronika Grzadkowska, MSc Counter Fraud and Counter Corruption Studies
  • Kirsty Clarke, MSc Criminology and Criminal Justice

More good news from the department is that last year’s postgraduate student, Alexandra Florescu, has recently started employment as a Fraud Analyst with Jimmy Choo.
