Academic Staff Association: Discussion forum and Annual General Meeting

UPEN-conferenceThe Academic Staff Association is holding a forum discussion on the current and future structure of the academic year, plus the AGM, on Wednesday 30 November.

All academic staff are automatically members of the ASA and are encouraged to attend. The main business of the AGM will be to elect executive committee officers for the current academic year (chair, vice-chair, equality and diversity representative, secretary, treasurer, two observers on academic council and a UCU representative).  In addition, each school across the University should have a representative on the ASA executive committee.

Nominations will be accepted at the meeting or alternatively they can be submitted in advance to the Interim Chair: chris.wilkinson@port.ac.uk

Lunch will be provided for up to 40 staff (on a first-come, first-served basis).

Come and meet the people who are representing you and perhaps join the executive!
