Venus Awards 2016: Nominate a local female entrepreneur

Portsmouth Business School is sponsoring the Small Business of the Year category of the Venus Awards 2016 for the Portsmouth rVenus-Slogan_Purpleegion.

Often referred to as the Working Women’s Oscars, the Venus Awards were formed in 2009 to recognise, reward and celebrate local working women in business.  This hotly contested category will be judged by marketing lecturer Helen Thompson-Whiteside and a team of students.

Nominations are now open and will close on 8 January and we ask all our students, staff and business partners across the region to consider nominating a local female entrepreneur in order that their efforts and successes may be recognised.

Please contact the Venus Awards to nominate a local business (which must be based in the PO postcode district but not on the Isle of Wight which holds its own awards). Venus will then contact your nominee to invite her to submit an application.

The Venus journey will culminate in a glamorous ceremony to be held at the Portsmouth Pyramids Centre on Friday 6 May 2016.
