Call for participants for breathing muscle training

We are looking for volunteers to partake in a breathing muscle training study.

What’s involved?

  • Attend a one-hour familiarisation session to practice breathing muscle training and testing technique, and experience an oxygen-deficient environment.
  • Perform breathing muscle exercise twice a day, every day, for six weeks.
  • Attend a 30 to 45-minute fitness assessment pre-training and post-training in both normal and oxygen-deficient environments.

What will I get out of it?

  • Experience testing in the University’s environmental labs.
  • Improve your fitness.
