  • RISsREF 2014 Results and Communication – Thursday 18 December 2014, 2.30pm–4.00pm, Richmond Building, Lecture Theatre 1

On Thursday 18 December HEFCE will make public the results of the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014 to which UK Higher Education Institutes submitted in November 2013.

We will be communicating the outcome for our submission to REF 2014, our position nationally as a University and within the areas we submitted to.

This one-off event is open to all staff, and if you wish to attend, you must book a place on Eventbrite.

  • The University of Portsmouth Research Development Fund 2015

Round 1 of the 2015 Research Development Fund (RDF) competition is now open, with an application deadline of 27 February 2015. 

RDF Awards of up to £25k will be made through a series of competitions to support activities that build our research capacity and profile. Such activities could include building consortia, organising workshops or showcase events, generating pilot data or accessing research resources not available within the University, for example.
