UPSU needs volunteers to join the CoppaFeel team

The Students’ Union is looking for volunteers to help the CoppaFeel team at the University.

CoppaFeel! (www.coppafeel.org) is a charity on a mission to stamp out late detection and misdiagnosis of breast cancer by ensuring that you know the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, know what your breasts look and feel like normally, check your breasts regularly throughout your lifetime and have the confidence to seek medical referral if you detect any changes.

Volunteers will help to get other students talking about and checking their breasts, and will spread the word dressed up in costume throughout Freshers’ Fayre 2012 as one of the first activities of the year.

Being a volunteer not only is it a credit to put on your CV, but also a great way to meet new people, a worthwhile cause and a massive heap of fun.

Learn more about the role at www.upsu.net/component/k2/item/902-coppafeel.

If you would like more information, or to register your interest, please contact Stephen Roberts at welfare@upsu.net, who will pass it on to your CoppaFeel campus rep, Ellen Finn.
